We thank our partners from the Fund for Aid to Eastern Europe of the Reform Society (SOEGG) for the next humanitarian goods with medical equipment and consumables for medical institutions.
The goods have been unloaded and distributed among Zhytomyr hospitals №1 and №2, regional children’s hospital, oncology hospital, hospitals of Korostyshiv, Novohrad-Volynskyi, Berdychiv, Ovruch, Pulin, Chudniv, Malyn, and others.
Refugees from the territories where hostilities are taking place were given shelter in the school building of the Ruzhyn Territorial Community (Zhytomyr Region).
The “House of Bread” helped these people with food.
The wards of the men’s psychoneurological dispensary, which was destroyed due to shelling by the aggressor in the war zone, were evacuated to the Lyubar Psychoneurological Dispensary in the Zhytomyr Region. The men had to flee without things and any necessities. So “House of Bread” provided them with beds, beddings, clothes, and shoes for all dependents.
The dental office of the Lyubar psychoneurological dispensary needs updating. Medical equipment, facilities, and furniture were installed there in the 70s of the last century.
During the difficult times of the war, our wards need special attention. Therefore, we feed people in soupkitchens, where it is possible, and where there is no such opportunity, charity meals are for take out. Of course, for people, who are unable to leave their house, because of physical disabilities, lunches are delivered to the house.
For those cities where soup kitchens do not work at all, we form food kits, which include the most necessary products so that people can cook at home. Hundreds of thanks to our sponsors from people who receive food aid!
One week ago, the Narodychi district of the Zhytomyr region was liberated from the Russian occupiers. “House of Bread” provided food and food kits to people who remained in the occupied territories. You have no idea how important this is to them! For many people, this is salvation from hunger.
During the war in Ukraine, our charity foundation received 9 humanitarian cargoes with goods from Europe. These are medical equipment and consumables for hospitals, food, second-hand clothes and shoes, etc. During the war, the authorities simplified the conditions for customs clearance of humanitarian goods, so today it takes much less time to receive, unload and distribute the aid, than in peacetime.
