The House of Bread Charitable Foundation remains committed to supporting those who are most vulnerable. One of our ongoing ministries is providing regular hot meals for the visitors of the Zhytomyr City Territorial Centre for Social Services of the Zhytomyr City Council.

Five days a week, elderly people come to the centre to receive a nutritious hot lunch consisting of a first course and a main course. For many of them, this meal is much more than food — it is an opportunity to experience care, enjoy fellowship, and spend time in a warm and welcoming environment.

The centre serves elderly individuals, people with disabilities, those who live alone without the support of family or relatives, and people surviving on very small pensions. For many, meeting even their basic daily needs has become an ongoing struggle. In these difficult circumstances, a hot meal provides not only nourishment but also comfort, dignity, and hope.
