Created in 1997 to help the needy people of Zhytomyr region and Ukraine. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Ukraine, like all post-Soviet states, experienced a major economic downturn. First of all, pensioners, people with disabilities, single people, and orphans were affected.

The first charity soup kitchen was opened for such people in Zhytomyr in 1997. Later we organized such soup kitchens in other towns of Zhytomyr region. The foundation grew and developed, and in addition to charitable soupkitchens, other charitable projects appeared.

Thanks to the donations of caring people, during the years of the foundation’s work, 36 charity soup kitchens were opened in different cities of Ukraine. Unfortunately, today in the conditions of war ony 18 are fully functioning.
